Living Areas
The pictures below feature our main areas of the house. A cozy fire place is the centerpiece for our open space format, which allows for your large family gathering to be in one common area. Off of the dining area, is a door way that leads out to a sun porch, a quiet space for you to have your morning coffee, curl up with a book, or stare off at the beautiful Lake. The majestic foyer is made from marble that was removed from a bank built over 100 years ago in Escanaba, too beautiful to let disappear with the abandoned building. The home even though seems to have so much history, is modern in every aspect and even more so comfortable for your family gathering.
The Bedrooms
Each of the bedrooms have all new mattress, bedding and pillows. Your comfort is what we have first in mind when putting these rooms together. The master suite is on the main floor and has a king size bed with the ultimate view to the lake. With a cozy sitting area, this room is large enough to be its own apartment. Off of the Master suite is a private sun porch to squeeze out some quiet time while the rest of the house is buzzing. Room #2 is on the main floor as well with a queen size bed. The Upper level has 3 bedrooms, Room #1 has a king size bed in it, the loft has 1 queen size beds and 2 twin size bed. Bedroom # 3 has 2 queen size beds. The gem of the loft worthy of mention is the out-cove that walks out to a private balcony to watch those incredible morning sunrises with a fresh cup of coffee or an afternoon nap in the sunshine. In addition we have a day bed in the sun porch, a toddler bed and a crib.
Kitchen & Baths
Sandy Bottoms Vacation Rental features a full kitchen as well as a kitchenette. The main kitchen is fully stocked with all appliances, cookware, and utensils that you would have at home. The kitchenette, is that bonus for the extra area you may need for your large group. There is also an additional fridge in the garage to keep overflow beverages and food. We have a washer dryer for your convenience . This house also has 2 full bathrooms and 1/2 bath upperstairs. The master bathroom includes a Jacuzzi tub to help you relax after a long day of playing on the beach.
